Hello Everyone,
I am about to start a whole new life here, so hang on and come join me.
I just moved here to Monroe, MI over Easter weekend. And boy, has it been rocky! All of that is about to change. My creativity is bursting at the seams and classes are ready to begin.
I have been teaching for over 25 years now.  I am self-taught except for the wonderful friends I have that either pushed me beyond what I thought I could do or  they inspired me when I thought I was all dried up. Ya, I am talking about you, girls; Susie, Lanore and Ginger and of course about my biggest Who-I-Wanna-Be, Susan at USArtQuest.
My husband Al works in my art studio when he can, making his wonderful soy candles. I am always trying to guess the next scent he is brewing up and he is always looking over my shoulder in awe at what I am creating with polymer clay, silver clay or card stock.
I have wonderful children now living all over the country. My little grandson, Carter is living in Florida but I try to see him as much as possible. Don't be suprised if someday this bio reads "Hello Everyone, I just moved to Florida!"
I have two crazy parrots, who talk to me while I am creating and two cute miniature chihuahuas that I totally adore.
Lastly, here is my favorite quote, which anyone who knows me will laugh at when they read this:
"Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming WOO-HOO, what a ride!" (author unknown)
